      That’s a really good question!
We chose to make this car for several reasons really, the main being the most obvious – because we can. Why do people climb mount Everest? Why did we send a man to the moon? The answer is because it was a challenge, an adventure. We chose to build this car to show the world that Britain is still great at Science and Engineering and that we can really push the boundaries of what is physically possible.
The other main reason (and most definitely the most important one!) is because we wanted to inspire people. There were always great science and engineering projects… The Vulcan Bomber, Concorde, even the Space Shuttle – all these things that made people sit up and think ‘wow, look what we can do’. There simply isn’t anything like that any more. We want to inspire people into science and engineering, because let’s face it, without those subjects, we aren’t going anywhere fast (please pardon the BLOODHOUND pun there! 😀 )
