• Question: What do you think the next big thing will be other than the ipad ??

      Interesting question. I think the ipad will get bigger and bigger. I like to think 3D TV and computing will take off, that and Augmented Reality, where you can blend the virtual world with the real world will be the next things to take off.

      Over the counter whole genome sequencing – the ability to have your entire genetic code, the instruction book from which every cell in your body is made, read by a machine. Of course, working out what it all means is much harder.

      oh I really wish I knew!
      It would be great if a craze like that developed over photovoltaics or some other fossil fuel alternative, but we tend to get more excited about gadgets that use energy.
      I’d love a robot but I think that’s going to be very expensive and it will be a long while before they’re available.
