I love animals, but I’m allergic to cats and dogs, so I keep bees instead.

I moved house quite recently, so I still spend a lot of time decorating and developing my garden. I have two vegetable patches, but don’t grow as much veg as I could since I like to leave my sprouting brocolli in the ground too long – the bees love the flowers and the caterpillars love to eat all the leaves! I have a greenhouse, and I like to grow my own tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and melons – so far I’ve done well with tomatoes and cucumbers, so I’m hoping this year I’ll be lucky with peppers and melons!

I get bored very easily, so I like to keep busy – usually by reading and listening to music, but I also like to catch up with my family on facebook. They live in Scotland, and I’m in Wales so I only see them a couple of times a year.

One of my hobbies is making stained glass panels – it’s a bit messy and I tend to get a lot of little cuts off the glass, but I’ve got some lovely results.

I like cucumbers, grappa, cheese and pickled onions (not all at the same time, though). I can get over-excited about science, and have been told by my co-workers to take a chill pill. I have a guilty pleasure (based in Nagrand). I look after the garden at home, I like the novels of Jane Austen, I play Uno/Chess/Frustration with my children and I prefer walking to fishing. I like blondes … (yes, my wife is one!). I think that that is enough secrets! 🙂

What do you want to know?

I’m 37 and have a passion for music. I play the saxophone in several bands and play keyboards. I love cooking, especially Asian food, but don’t like pineapple or mango and think orange juice with “juicey bits” should be banned!! I love good red wine and spend too much money on that! I have a very understanding wife who is a GP and who puts up with me traveling alot and doing lots of gigs at the weekends. I also have 2 small boys (7 and 3) who are great fun and love dinosaurs, football, rugby and cricket. I enjoy rugby and cricket and play golf very badly. I love holidaying in Italy and getting back to my spiritual home in Scotland. Am pretty laid back about life but can get wound up if people push the wrong buttons.

I am a gadget freak and love playing with new gadgets – am an apple mac convert and am desperate to get an iPAD!

      That’s a rather deep question!
I grew up near Abergavenny; a small town in South Wales. I went to school there and then moved to Bristol to study Product Design Technology at University, and I have stayed here ever since!
I would like to say I have a lot of spare time, but my job is a little bit more than 9 to 5… I often work evenings and sometimes even weekends! This has meant though that I have travelled all over the country and visited some really interesting places, including Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Top Gear Live Show and loads of exhibition!
Whenever I do get some free time, I like to draw and write, and also love cycling…

Well, where do I start? I’m 36, I’ve been married for nearly 14 years to a gorgeous guy I met when I was a student. I really enjoy my job as an engineering researcher but I do loads of stuff outside of that, I’m particularly into music – I play the drums and the keyboard in my church and I run a youth club there where we teach music to teenagers. I like being outdoors too – scuba diving, skiing, cycling, running, rock climbing and dancing 🙂
