  I think if I buy the videocamera and software I want there won’t be much prize money left. I would probably keep using it to distribute films of our work to public forums and schools through websites and interactive schools programmes.

  Nothing else exciting. An important part of science is obtaining funding, and being honest about what you’re going to do with the money. You have to be upfront and open to audit (i.e. checking), so no hidden motivations to declare!
