0 Question: DOES A CAR STAY ON THE GROUND BY GRAVITY THAT ISSAC NEWTON CREATED BY WATCHING AN APPLE FALL TO THE GROUND. Asked by chance to Keith on 16 Jun 2010 in Categories: General.
Keith Brain answered on 16 Jun 2010:
Yes – Cars do stay on the ground because of gravity, the same thing that Newton described.
However, Newton didn’t create gravity, he just described it clearly for the first time.
Also, lots of people think that Newton made up the story of the apple a long time after his discovery. It is a good story though.

he didnt create gravity, it was already there but issac newton was the first to think “hang on, why did this apple fall on my face?”
