I understand the concept of them hasan, but whether I believe in them or not is a different matter. There are lots of theories as to what causes ‘paranormal’ activities – but I remain to be unconvinced about what the actual answer is. If you take ghosts as an example… Are there really ghosts? Is there some sort of breakdown between realities that allows us to catch glimpses of others? Or in fact is it all just stories? I am yet to really decide. What do you think?

I don’t understand all paranormal activities, but I still believe (yes, an act of faith!) that there will be good explanations for them based on well-established scientific principles … or … that they could present some really interesting new phenomena worth further investigation.

Some strange things with at least tentative scientific answer are:
      – Ball Lightning (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ball_lightning ; I wouldn’t recommend the microwave experiments there … I think your parents/guardians would not be very happy), and
      – Sprites (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sprite_(lightning)).
