I’m note sure if you mean Hodgkin’s disease or Huntington’s disease or something else.
For Hodgkin’s disease, the cures are getting better, and survival is already quite good.
For Huntington’s disease, the problem it results from a genetic mutation that is found in every cell in the body. This makes it tough to treat, but I think that it should be possible to slow it down so that people with this disease lead a relatively normal life with a normal lifespan. A bit like we treat diabetes or AIDs – we can’t get rid of it (except in some very fancy ways) but people can live with it now.
