• Question: DO YOU THINK THE WORLD WILL END IN 2012 BECAUSE OF GLOBAL WARMING

      Hi

      No I don’t. Global warming is a problem, but it is not increasing at a pace to cause global destruction in 2 years time. We need to be careful and work to reduce and manage global warming, but we will still be here in 2013

      No. Firstly, I don’t think that any of the predictions regarding global warming predict the end of the world; secondly, 2012 is too soon for serious consequences (I’d be thinking more like 2020 to 2050). So, I think that school and exams are still important 😉

      I don’t think global warming will cause the end of the world at all. It is likely to have a strong impact on how we live, but you’re unlikely to notice anything particularly by 2012. Gradually as the world gets warmer, the sea levels will rise which will flood low lying regions on coasts and rivers, it is also likely to make our weather more severe so we will have more floods and droughts.
