I doubt it due to the lack of conclusive evidence – they are probably just brown bears or polar bears which can walk upright. Any more human looking creatures are probably humans dressed up in bear suits.
I think that there is a creature that is called the yeti, but it is likely to be a large mammal such as a bear. There is no real evidence for some strange creature as far as I know
It would be intriguing to think so, but I don’t think that there will be. It is interesting that abominable snowman/yeti/bigfoot beliefs arise in lots of places around the world. I think that its unlikely that they could all have been hiding out, around the world, without being discovered.
Does the similarity of the legends make their existence more likely or less likely? So, does a similar description make their existence more likely because the descriptions are consistent, or less likely because it tells us that people in different societies think, and create belief systems, with similar ideas?
