• Question: do you believe in any supernatural things like ghost,witches and fairies?

      I love books and films about supernatural things, but I don’t actually believe in them

      I don’t believe in ghosts or fairies etc. but I do believe in God.

      No not really. Witches did exist many years ago, but were not like the ones you find in the stories. As for faries, don’t believe in them either, but one of my PhD students, Jess does wear faries wings into work sometimes so maybe I do!

      Interesting question, but I am afraid the answer is a no for me – kind of.
      Witches and fairies are definitely out, however ghosts are another matter. I don’t believe that we are haunted by the spirits of dead people, but I think that there is merit in the idea of different universes colliding and you getting echos of people in other existences. that isn’t to say that I believe in it, but I can’t as a scientist rule out the possibility 😀

      No, I don’t. There are some pretty strange atmospheric phenomena that can be pretty ghost-like, like “Ball Lightning”, but I’m a fan of natural over super-natural; natural is “super” enough for me!
