‘Hopeful’ implies that I have doubts jeffreys99!
We have spent a long time getting to where we are now, a lot of design work has gone into making sure that it is not only possible, but safe. I truly believe we can do it, and I intend to be out there on the dessert and hear the sonic boom as BLOODHOUND gets to 1000mph. I’m not just hopeful we can do it, I KNOW we can do it 😀
Hi Jeffreys
I’m really hopeful about reaching my target. I’m working on a solar wall which uses sunlight to heat air for the building. Lots of people worry that there isn’t enough sunshine in the UK to be useful, but a smaller scale experiment I did a while ago gave very promising results!
Hywel – sonic boom at about 760 miles per hour? Ah, but you won’t be too close to the car, and it takes time for you the sound to reach your ears, so you will indeed hear the boom as Bloodhound hits 1000mph, but not because it hits 1000 miles/hour. You’re quite right 😉
