And the winner in the Boron zone is…

The students have spoken. The votes have been counted and the moment has finally arrived for us to announce this year’s winner of I’m a Scientist, Get me out of Here! After two weeks of hot debate, stimulating chat and mind-boggling facts, the students have decided the winner in the Boron zone is…

Hywel Vaughan

Congratulations Hywel! The students have voted you their favourite scientist and most worthy of the £500 prize to communicate your science work. We hope you spend the money wisely and wish you all the best with designing the world’s fastest car! Well done for winning at such a young age, you are a great example for all the young people to follow!

Hard luck to Keith and thank you to all the other scientists who took part, you were all brilliant and each and every single one of you has contributed to the great success of this year’s event.

You can leave messages for the scientists on the news post to thank them for all their hard work and the time they gave up to participate.

And finally…..we would really love to hear from you!! Tell us what you thought about the event, the Live Chats, the scientists, the replies you got from submitted questions etc. Your feedback will help us to make events better in the future. There is a feedback survey which won’t take long but would really help us to know what you think of I’m a Scientist, just click here

Thank you so much to EVERYONE who took part for making this year’s event so spectacular!!!
Please join us in June for the next I’m a Scientist, Get me out of Here!

Keith; I couldn’t have been a winner without someone to beat, and in you I had a true opponent! Your answers were magnificent and engaging, and I hope that our paths shall cross again 🙂
